معرفی دانشگاه وینزور

دانشگاه وینزور (University of Windsor)، یکی از دانشگاه‌های معتبر کانادا بوده که درایالت آتاریو و  شهر وینزور قرار دارد. آنتاریو (Ontario)، پرجمعیت ترین استان و محل سکونت بیش از 12 میلیون شهروند کانادا به شمار می رود.شهر های انتاریو بسیاری از هنرمندان ، گردشگران و نخبه گان را از سراسر جهان بسوی خود جلب کرده و موجبات تولید ثروت و علم را در این سرزمین فراهم آورده اند .

به دلیل آنکه استان انتاریو قطب اقتصادی کانادا محسوب می شود ، در نتیجه انواع صنایع در این استان  یافت می شوند . این استان محلی برای ارائه خدمات مدرن و اطلاعات اقتصادی در کنار بسترهای لازم برای تولید است.آمار بیکاری در استان کمی کمتر از میانگین آمار بیکاری درکانادا و در حدود 6.6 درصد میباشد. موقعیتهای شغلی در این استان با توجه به اقتصاد و صنایع گوناگون موجود در آن از تنوع بسیاری برخوردار است تا جایی که از کشاورزی تا فن آوری اطلاعات در آن می توان یافت.بطور میانگین درآمد اهالی انتاریو در بین استانهای کانادا جزو بالاترین درآمدها می باشد.متوسط درآمد خانواده ها در انتاریو با رقم 59700 دلار در سال دومین درآمد بالا در میان استانهای کشور می باشد.همچنین این استان با رقم 10.50 دلار در ساعت دومین نرخ پایه حقوق در کشور را دارا می باشد.با وجود فرهنگهای مختلف که از سرتاسر دنیا به این استان کوچ کرده اند ، انتاریو یکی از غنی ترین مناطق دنیا از لحاظ تنوع فرهنگی به شمار می آید.از لحاظ رویدادهای مهم فرهنگی ، علمی و ورزشی انتاریو جایگاه ویژه خود را در بین جوامع جهان یافته است. نقطه برجسته فرهنگ انتاریو به جوامع مهاجر مربوط می شود.

بیشترین تعداد دانشگاه های کل کانادا که دارای کیفیت آموزشی بسیار بالایی هستند در انتاریو هستند. بالاترین آمار کاریابی در فارغ التحصیلان کانادا با ۹۲٪ در انتاریو است.انتاریو مرکزی برای موسسات تحقیقاتی شناخته شده ای در سطح جهان است که از بودجه آموزشی استانی استفاده می نمایند. در ضمن دانشگاههای انتاریو در بین دانشگاههای معروف و شناخته شده جهان می باشند. بهترین و ارزانترین راه حمل و نقل برای دانشجویان بین المللی در استان انتاریو استفاده از اتوبوس و مترو میباشد. شهریه دانشگاه های این استان به نسبت بیشتر استان های کانادا بالاتر بوده و بین ۱۵۰۰۰ تا ۳۰۰۰۰ دلار سالیانه میباشد. با توجه به اینکه موقعیت های کاری بیشتری در این استان وجود دارد متقاضیان شانس بیشتری برای پیدا کردن کار پاره وقت وهم چنین کار پس از تحصیل خواهند داشت. 

 در دانشگاه وینزور بیش از 16500 دانشجو در مقاطع لیسانس و فوق لیسانس مشغول به تحصیل میباشند. دانشکده نوآوری و مهندسی آن با 80 لابراتوار تحقیقاتی، کلاسهای مجهز به تکنولوژی های آموزشی و همینطور کارگاه های عملی، در نوع خود بزرگترین پروژه این دانشگاه بوده. دانشگاه وینزور زمین های خود را به مرکز شهر هم گسترش داده که در آنجا دانشکده های هنرهای تجسمی، موسیقی، علوم اجتماعی، فیلمسازی و آموزش، پذیرای دانشجویان هستند. دانشگاه وینزور در مجاورت پرتردد ترین مرز آمریکا یعنی میشیگان و در نزدیکی آبشار زیبای “دیترویت ریور” قرار دارد. همین جذابیت ها در کنار محیط بین المللی مناسب و کیفیت آموزشی و تحقیقاتی بالا، این دانشگاه را به یکی از مقصد های دانشجویان خارجی بدل کرده است. با وجود تنوع فراوانی که در دانشگاه وجود دارد، محیط آن به گونه ای است که دانشجویان و اساتید همکاری فوق العاده ای با یکدیگر دارند. اتحاد بی نظیر دانشکده ها، تمام شرایط لازم برای یادگیری و تحقیقات  را فراهم می آورد.
