معرفی دانشگاه اولو
دانشگاه اولو (به زبان فنلاندی : Oulun yliopisto) یکی از بزرگترین دانشگاههای فنلاند است که در شهر اولو واقع شده است که در سال ۱۹۵۸تاسیس شده است. دانشگاه اولو جزو دانشگاه های تحقیقاتی بین المللی کشور فنلاند محسوب می شود و ۱۶۰۰۰ دانشجو در آن مشغول تحصیل هستند . دانشگاه اولو دارای کارکنان اداری در حدود ۳۰۰۰ نفر و پذیرش دانشجو در حدود ۱۷۰۰۰ نفر می باشد و در میان ۴ دانشگاه برتر کشور فنلاند می باشد.
دانشگاه اولو در کشور فنلاند با ایجاد نو آوریاز راه پژوهش های چند رشته ای وبا به کار گیری دانش جدید با محیطی که در آن دانشجویان برای بهبود رفاه مردم ومحیط زیست اطرافشان در حال تحقیقات می باشند . در دانشگاه اولو فنلاند دوره هایی وجود دارد که به طور رایگان به دانشجویان علاوه بر فارغ التحصیلی در رشته خود دیپلم ارائه می کند که این دوره ها به زبان انگلیسی ارئه می شوند. مقاطع تحصیلی در دانشگاه اولوبه این صورت است که سه مقطع تحصیلی کارشناسی ، کارشناسی ارشد و دکتری وجود دارد. در هر دوره ممکن است روش های مظالعاتی متفاوتی وجود داشته باشد که معمولا در هر مقطع برنامه های مطالعاتی پایه و ابتدایی، متوسط و پیشرفته وجود دارد . در مقطع کارشناسی دو دوره مطالعاتی دروس پایه و متوسط را شامل می شود که در این دوره پایان نامه ی مقطع کارشناسی را نیز شامل می شود همچنین دروس زبان . در مقطع کارشناسی ارشد دانشجویان باید پایان نامه و دوره آموزش پیشرفته را بگذرانند .
کتابخانه دانشگاه اولو خدماتی همچون کتابداری و جمع آوری اطلاعات برای دانشجویان دانشگاه اولو ارائه می دهد و دانشگاه اولو از امکانات مختلفی مانند آزمایشگاه ها -کلاس های درس کامپیوتر با امکان نرم افزارهای ویندوز – لینوکس و مکینتاش بهره می برد همه این امکانات در جهت گرفتن بهترین نتایج در مطالعات و تحقیقات دانشجویان این دانشگاه فراهم آمده است
اولو یکی از شهرهای استان استروبوسنیای شمالی در کشور فنلاند و این شهر پر جمعیتترین شهر شمال فنلاند و ششمین شهر بزرگ این کشور است.

Martti Oiva Kalevi Ahtisaari is a Finnish politician, the tenth President of Finland (1994–2000), a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and a United Nations diplomat and mediator noted for his international peace work. Ahtisaari was a United Nations special envoy for Kosovo, charged with organizing the Kosovo status process negotiations, aimed at resolving a long-running dispute in Kosovo, which later declared its independence from Serbia in 2008. In October 2008, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for his important efforts, on several continents and over more than three decades, to resolve international conflicts".The Nobel statement said that Ahtisaari has played a prominent role in resolving serious and long-lasting conflicts, including ones in Namibia, Aceh (Indonesia),Kosovo, and Iraq |

Sakari Orava is a Finnish sports medicine surgeon, physician, orthopedist, and professor. He attended the medical school at the University of Oulu. Orava has clinics in Turku, Rome and Madrid.He has been dubbed as "Dr. House of sports", and has performed over 20,000 surgeries throughout his career. Orava was the head physician for the Finnish Olympic team in four consecutive Summer Olympics between 1988 and 2000. |

Tuija Lehtinen is a Finnish writer. In 1973 she graduated from high school in Kuopio, then in 1978 graduated with a BS from the University of Oulu, majoring in statistics. Lehtinen was a freelance journalist from 1979-1984 and has since worked as a freelance author. Her best-known works include the Mirkka, Laura and Janne novel series. They have been translated into Danish, Swedish, German, Estonian and Japanese. |
